Review of local mental health services launches – have your say!

The local body responsible for commissioning and reviewing health services, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (‘BNSSG CCG’), have begun a review of mental health services across the combined local area.

The Independent Mental Health Network (‘IMHN’) is working to ensure that those with experience of local mental health services are able to have their say. A survey has been published to gather the views of people who either have accessed local services themselves, or have cared for people that have. Clarity, as IMHN’s North Somerset branch, has contributed significantly to the formulation of this survey.

You can fill in the survey here. All contributions are valuable. Please note, that if you have experience of mental health services from both a personal and carer perspective, and wish to provide feedback from both of your points of view, please complete the survey separately for each perspective.

Additionally, IMHN and The Care Forum are working together to deliver an event that will also feed into the wider ongoing review. There will be a Mental Health Conversations event taking place between 10:00 – 16:00 on Thursday 1st August 2019, at The Royal Hotel in Weston-super-Mare. It is free to attend but spaces are limited and going fast. Please click the link to register your space now!
